Chinatown during Chinese New Year. Temple Street- situated in the heart of Chinatown and runs parallel to Smith and Pagoda Street. It is probable that the road was named due to the presence of many temples in the vicinity and including that of the Sri Mariamman Temple - the oldest Hindu temple in Singapore. The multi cultural and religions co-existing harmoniously in Singapore is something we are proud of.
