Everton Park is considered one of the oldest neighbourhood in Singapore which has this quaint and laid-back vibes. But due to its vicinity to Outram Park, Keong Saik and Duxton, you do get the occasional hipster indie shops to be found here. Everton Road is well known for its street art and murals. this 1938 shophouse has Chinese words that state 'Life is Marvellous'. This words perhaps serve as encouragement to our migrant forefathers who just arrived at the shores of Singapore and buiding this country to what it is today.

Built in 1928, the original Fullerton Building resides in a historic location in the heart of Singapore’s Central Business District. Named after Robert Fullerton—the first colonial governor of Singapore—The Fullerton Hotel began life as an ornate post office. The British government originally commissioned the building’s construction to commemorate the colony’s centennial anniversary in 1919. Following an extensive renovation, this eloquent structure reopened as The Fullerton Hotel in 2001.
